1840's Indian Pondicherry Floral & Elephant Carved Beam

An architectural gem, this elegant antique carved beam is and is hand carved from teak wood and is adorned with beautiful floral and elephant carvings and was originally used as molding on the ceiling of historic havelis of royal families. This beam has traces of its original white painted finish.
